Dubai South’s Aerospace Hub unveils new industrial complex amid rising aviation demand
Purpose-built units designed for scalable aviation operations
DUBAI – Dubai’s aviation infrastructure network is set for another expansion as Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) announced the launch of a new Light Industrial and Maintenance Complex designed to support increasing demand across the aviation sector.
The development marks another step in strengthening the emirate’s aerospace ecosystem and enhancing operational capacity for aviation-related businesses. It also aligns with broader efforts to reinforce Dubai’s standing as a leading global aviation centre.
Flexible spaces
Spanning 24,900 square metres, the new complex will feature 33 purpose-built units tailored to accommodate a broad range of aviation and aerospace activities. The facility is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2027.
Designed with scalability in mind, the complex will offer modern operational spaces aimed at improving efficiency for businesses operating within the sector. The units can be configured and combined according to operational requirements, allowing companies to expand or adapt as needs evolve.
Located within Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub at Dubai South, the development is expected to support aviation and aerologistics operators already operating within the area’s integrated business ecosystem.
Tahnoon Saif, Chief Executive Officer of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, said the launch reflects MBRAH’s commitment to supporting aviation and aerospace supply chains through infrastructure designed to address both current and future industry requirements.
He said the hub continues to develop facilities that allow companies to scale operations efficiently within a connected ecosystem, while supporting the leadership’s vision of strengthening Dubai’s position as the aviation capital of the world.
MBRAH serves as a free-zone destination for major global aerospace companies and provides connectivity for airlines, private aviation firms, maintenance, repair and overhaul operators, alongside associated industries. Developed within Dubai South, the hub also houses maintenance centres, training facilities and education campuses aimed at supporting the emirate’s growing engineering and aviation ambitions.
